Ms. Shay-Diehl and Mrs. Lafferty are this year's student council advisors. Newly elected student council members will receive a letter explaining meeting dates and times.

Classified & Certificated Staff Members: Remember to sign in for current day only! DO NOT sign in for the week or days in advance.

Classified Staff: Stop by the office and sign for your employee handbook.

Have you done your B.E.S.T. today? September's theme is: Responsibility. Let's all make a concerted effort to do one B.E.S.T. activity a week. Student Council's focus will be on using the B.E.S.T. themes as well. ????'s or ideas? See Diana Shay-Diehl.

Date pink attendance sheets with the day's date. Paperclip all attendance notes to the outside front cover of your attendance notebook.

Lock the gate after entering in the morning.

Announce to parents who pick up children that they must GET OUT OF THEIR CARS to claim their children at parent pick-up. We CANNOT RELEASE THEM UNLESS THEY HAVE SOMEONE AT THE GATE by parent pick-up. Students are not allowed to walk into the parking lot without an adult.

 
Breaking News
W32/APost@mm ("APost" or "New Backdoor") worm has been spreading over the past 24 hours through the Microsoft Outlook email program. This is a MEDIUM ON WATCH worm. The infected email can come from addresses that you recognize and may contain the following information:

Subject: As per your request!

Body: Please find attached file for your review. I look forward to hear from you again very soon. Thank you.

Attachment: README.EXE

Running the attachment causes the worm to copy itself to the Windows directory and send a copy of itself to every entry in the user's Microsoft Outlook Address Book. It will then display a small dialog box titled "Urgent!". This dialog box contains one single large button labeled "Open". If this button is pressed then the worm sends out further copies of itself, displays an error message box with the title "WinZip SelfExtractor: Warning" and then terminates.

Please, just be careful using Outlook email (your OMail). NEVER open any email/omail attachment that has an .exe extension unless you have specifically asked for it.
