New Items for October 17, 2001


Spell-a-thon - Make sure you test your kids by Friday, so you can collect all your classroom money by next week. Encourage your
students to keep collecting pledges until you test.

Thunderbird Tales: All entries for the Thunderbird banners are due this Friday, October 19. The prize is $25.00 worth of books for your classroom.

Staff Shirts - $28.00, which includes tax & shipping is due by Friday, October 19. Postdated checks payable to the FFA are OK.

From Kellie & Lukey... Yearbooks - The yearbook sale will run in conjunction with the Book Fair (Nov. 2 - 8th). There will also be a pre-sale table set out at the Fall Festival. Encourage students to purchase yearbooks during this period. There won't be any extras ordered this year. Cost is $15.00.

From Michelle... Technology update: Sign up for O-mail Training in the Teachers' Lounge. O-mail training is scheduled on Nov, 8 from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m. in the Technology Lab. California Technology Assistance Project (CTAP) will providing this training with the assistance of our own Lori Blanding. Both certificated and classified employees are eligible for this training. Please take a moment to sign up for O-mail training and indicate your interest in other possible training opportunities at the same time. The number of committed participants will determine the number of trainers sent by CTAP.
