Federal Survey Cards were due to the office today. If you have not yet turned your class set in, please see to it that Kathy Licher (at Brenda's desk) receives them by the end of the day Thursday. We hope to make quite a dent in them on Friday when school is not in session.
Classified Employees on 2/4 split of Staff Development/Parent Teacher Conference Days schedule (you know who you are) - A reminder that this coming Friday, October 10 is NOT a day you will work.
Final Call - for those with complaints about subscription problems with
Scholastic News and those wishing materials from the
Dairy Council. Friday is just chock full of projects such as these that the office staff hopes to complete. If you haven't notified Barb about either of these yet, it's time to jot off that email or be left wanting.
Friday Hours - Since the staff will be scattering to the four winds for Staff Development Day the school will be open until 8:00 p.m. for those stragglers who wish to return home at day's end.
Toilet Paper! - We've all had it happen. You know that "Oh Drat!" feeling. Just when you need it most, the last person neglected to replace the empty roll and there you are without toilet paper.
Help out your fellow teachers (and hapless office clerk) by notifying Barb when you open the last of a stocked supply. We strive to keep the Riso supplied with refills of ink and masters but if someone uses the last cartridge or roll and doesn't let the office know that they've used it, then someone is going to be left high and dry when they want to run copies. The same policy applies to construction paper. If you open the last pack of paper or happen to notice that a specific color is running low - let Barb know so she can order more before it's all gone.
Two assemblies this week - Remember that Tuesday & Thursday are assembly days. Fire Prevention on Tuesday. Monthly Awards on Thursday. Grades 1-3 at 9:15. Grades 4-6 at 10:00. Kindergarteners have their own Fire Prevention assembly at 12:15 on Tuesday.
Staff Meeting on Tuesday beginning at 3:15.
NO SCHOOL for students on Friday, Staff Development Day. Check flyers in your mailboxes for locales of meetings.
