Please make sure all employees/students do their Microsoft Updates if they are using Windows 2000 or XP. This needs to be done as soon as the machines are turned on.

Hackers and worm writers did not take the summer off. They've been busy concocting new nasties to pounce on your machines. To install Windows Updates you MUST do the Updates ASAP. Open a browser window (log on to the Internet). Click on TOOLS. Select Windows Update from the drop down menu. Follow the prompts. ALL Critical Updates MUST be installed to make sure your computer is armed against the latest security breach attempts.
